Dr. Tim Elmore

Dr. Tim Elmore is the founder and president of Growing Leaders, an Atlanta-based non-profit organization created to develop emerging leaders. Through Growing Leaders, Elmore and his team provide public schools, state universities, civic organizations and corporations with the tools they need to turn ordinary students into growing leaders who will transform society. Elmore's curriculum is widely recognized as one of the most effective programs for training and inspiring our next generation of leaders.
Tim Elmore has written more than 20 books, including the best-selling book series Habitudes®: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes, Life Giving Mentors, and Nurturing the Leader Within Your Child. He has delivered leadership training and keynotes to hundreds of academic and corporate organizations in more than 30 countries as well as athletic organizations including the University of Texas and the University of Miami football teams, the University of Alabama athletic department, and the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club. In addition, a number of government offices in Washington, D.C. have utilized Dr. Elmore's curriculum.
Elmore received a Bachelors degree from Oral Roberts University and masters and doctoral degrees from Azusa Pacific University. He has also taught courses on leadership and mentoring at nine universities and graduate schools across the U.S.
Tim Elmore lives in Atlanta with his wife Pam and his two children Bethany and Jonathan.
